Helps to treat fatigue as well Fatigue is one of the most common problems particularly for middle aged people and senior citizens. Okra helps to fight this fatigue because its seeds contain oxidants which can help to release glycogen storage in the liver. this in turn boosts the energy in a person. Okra helps To fight diabetes Out of all the okra health benefits, one of the main benefits is that it helps to fight diabetes. Once again the okra seeds helps to cut back the glucose levels does reducing the blood sugar count. This happens when the body inhabits a enzyme called (alpha glycosidase ) which breaks down the carbs in the body which in turn improves the insulin sensitivity of the cells. Okra has assisted in the cure and prevention of diabetes for hundreds of years now. scientist All over the world have agreed that It keeps the cholesterol level under check Consumption of okra reduces the storage of fat in the body and this in turn helps with the control of cholesterol.   4. How To Make Okra Water: STEP 1: Wash down 5 to 6 okras. STEP 2: cut off both ends off the okra stick, then cut the stick in half ( right in the middle) STEP 3: Place the sticks in a deep pan, then cover them with water. STEP 4: Soak the sticks overnight (preferably up to 24 hours – We recommend soaking your okra in a good quality spring or mineral water. This will add additional benefits in hydrating your body and boosting electrolyte levels). STEP 5: After 12 to 24 hours, squeeze the sticks into the water in order to release all the juice. STEP 6: Throw away the stick and bring the water to a light boil ( add a pinch of salt & pepper) drink when warm. I hope i have made it clear on how to make okra water. In the Hindu culture – Okra is said to be a divine plant sent down by the gods themselves, for the benefits of mankind. In order to start witnessing okra health benefits its is important to consume okra juice consistently for at least a month.
