  2. CHILDHOOD • Born January 4,1643 in Woolsthorp,e “,Lincolnshire or modern day United Kingdom. Isaacs father died 3 months earlier Isaac’s birth Isaacs was small enough at birth to fit in a quart pot which was much smaller than many others in his time When Isaac was only three, she wed an elderly, wealthy clergyman and moved away, leaving her firstborn son to be raised by his uncle. The clergyman, after fathering several step-siblings for young Isaac, died in 1653, and Hannah brought her new family home to the Woolsthorpe manor.

  3. Adulthood • Although he made no important discoveries, Newton's last years were not barren of ideas. Now famous and honored, he felt secure enough to offer many public speculations on scientific problems. He suggested various possible hypotheses as to the "cause'' of gravitation and speculated on the nature of the "ether," the size of the constituent units of matter, the forces of electricity and magnetism, the cause of muscular response to the "commands of the will," the origins of sensation, the creation of the world, the ultimate destiny of man.

  4. Accomplishments • Sir Isaac Newton was a very famous man for his work with gravity and many of his handwritten books .But throughout his life he never proved any of his scientific theories about gravity. Isaac was famous work with algebraic notation like many other mathematicians

  5. Death • March 20, 1727 the 84 year old Sir Isaac Newton died from natural causes in London
