  2. Story One day my sister and I were taking a walk. When suddenly we stumbled upon a furry little fuzz ball laying in the ditch. As we walked closer to it we noticed that the little furry fuzz ball was actually a scared and shivering little puppy. There was blood all over the puppy, and looked like it just had been beaten. So, my sister and I called our mom and she brought down a blanket. After we took the puppy home, we noticed that it had 2 broken legs. This is what made me start my organization.

  3. Situation • Over the years of saving animals, Paw’s Rescue Center has become very limited of space. • We have gotten a lot more animals so there isn’t very much room for them. Since the basement is very crowded, space for the animals has become very limited. • Office space is also very limited, which makes it very hard to look for things like papers/letters when everything is all over the place. My office is my basement. • The only staff members are me and my sister.

  5. Alternatives We have discovered a few options to resolve our problems. We buy a new building, make posters/ advertisements, etc. to get the word out about our company and have events to raise more money. Then we can hire people that will be willing to work. We will need $46,000 from Angel Funds. Build our own building which would take about 8 months. We would also have to buy our own furniture. The cost of the construction and furniture would be a total of $246,000. We wouldn’t be able to pay our staff members until the building is finished.

  6. Recommendation • I recommend that we should go with option 1, which was the option where we buy a building, create posters to get the word out to everybody and have more events to raise more money. • This is a better option than the 2nd option because we will be able to pay our staff members and they won’t have to wait. • We will have plenty more room for the animals and more office space.

  9. Pet area (outside)

  10. Implementation • The next 3 steps to this plan would be… • We buy the building with the money given to us by Angel funds • Then we would proceed to put together paws rescue center • After we have finished putting it together we will have more fundraisers/events to raise more money to keep on upgrading and making paws rescue center better.

  11. Evaluation • We will know we have succeeded because… • We will have more space and so will the animals, we can save more animals • We would have more staff members to help out • The events that we’ll have will give us more money to be used toward improving our organization and will • go to the animals that need it most.
