  2. Cities & Urban Land Use • Urban Decay: In the picture the buildings are run down, old, & decaying. • Ghetto: This would be a ghetto because the area looks poor & they are all the same race. • Ethnic Neighborhood: They all look like they are the same ethnicity & same culture.

  3. Industrialization • Industrial Revolution: This is in the U.S. & you can see the factories in the background. • Transition zone: The factories are in transition zone. • Squatter Settlements: These are the settlements right outside the factories.

  4. Cities & Urban Land Use 2 • CBD: This is the CBD where all the businesses are. • Suburbs: The suburbs are on the outskirts of the city • Edge City: this could also be an edge city because it could have concentration of businesses in the suburbs.

  5. Agriculture • Subsidy: They are growing a lot of wheat so they can get money for a subsidy. • Agricultural revolution: They created new technology like the first tractor during this era. • Plantation: This is a plantation because they have lots of land where they grow one major crop.
