Es un recorrido total de 220 kilómetros que comienza en San Carlos de Bariloche, pasa por Villa la Angostura, y acaba en San Martín de los Andes Son los lagos Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo y Nahuel Huapi. Todos, resultado de la metamorfosis glaciaria que hace millones de años experimentó la región. La ruta es el principal corredor turístico de la zona
