  3. The diffuse ST-T abnormality is evident, but note the short QoT in many leads. Unfortunately, multiple myeloma with bone destruction has resulted in hyperclacemia with a level of 17.

  4. Unfortunately, the lung nodule was found to be carcinoma. 4 months later, wide-spread bone metastases have resulted in a Ca++ level of 14 -- identified in his EKG as a short Q to onset of the T wave. Hypercalcemia is a treatable cause of changes in mentation.
