  3. Cryptozoology- • Comes from the Greek word Kriptos meaning hidden • And zoology means the study of animals Together this means the study of hidden animals

  4. Why do people believe in all this?

  5. Reasons • Some believe it because of spiritual beliefs • Or either because of legends or stories • Sometimes people think they’ve seen the creatures

  8. Bigfoot • AKA Sasquatch • Is known to be hairy, 8’-10’ tall • “Sighted” in remote wilderness areas • In the United States, and Canada

  9. Yeti • Is known to live in the Himalayas • Some people say Yeti and the Abominable Snowman are related

  10. No Proof! • We’ve never found a dead Bigfoot • A bone • Or proof of any other creatures? • Maybe the creatures are all the same beings • No one knows for sure
