What we need to accomplish • Identify company’s needs • Identify target customer group to satisfy company’s needs • Identify the needs of target customer group • Focus on the most feasible of these needs • Create specifications • Brainstorm ideas to fulfill the specifications • Redesign Disposable Camera to fit those needs

  3. Kodak’s Needs • Need to revitalize their disposable camera market in order to help the company’s financial situation. • Find new target audience to increase demand • Low costs to increase revenue • Capitalize on market before competitors do

  6. Gathering Information • Why we chose this target group: • It is a growing segment of the U.S. population • Prefer simpler which means cheaper in this case

Specifications • Act as an effective disposable camera for the older generation • Use must be simple enough for an older person to do easily (Take a picture in under ten seconds). • Must be able to fall from a height of four feet and still function • Must be able to produce for under a dollar a camera. • Look professional enough for an older person to want to use it (Cant look childish). • Have the efficiency for it to be worth its price. Should be able to take at least 25 medium to high quality pictures.
