Theory in the VO: the present GOAL: define standards to publish, search and access theoretical data TARGET DATA: produced by numerical calculations: Simulation results - raw, “Level-0” data - Post-processing, Level-1 products (halo catalogues, theoretical spectra…) - Synthetic observations Level-2 products (virtual telescope…) - Analysis Level-3 results (correlation functions, power spectra…) • SPECIFIC FOCUS: LARGE simulations and post-processing products • 3+1D, spatial/temporal • “micro-physics” simulations (under discussion) PRESENTED WORK: prototype implementations of: SimDB – Simulated data model (describe and search, advanced development stage) SimDAP – Data access protocol (select and get, work in progress) Tools for the TVO (S3 Wizard for microsims, VisIVO for visualization)
