  1. Diamond Sensor Update Jeff Wiseman 7/13/09

  2. Tests Completed • All tests done on Diamond Sensor • Ran both IV and CV tests • Got somewhat strange results for both of the different tests

  3. IV test • Ran all IV test from 0-500V • Each of the tests had a step of 5 volts while taking 5 data points at each step • Graph shows the average of each of point and each run is show in a different color • Also included is an average and trend line of averaging all points together

  4. Results • Not much in terms of results • Most likely noise, too loud to be getting the delicate results from the sensor

  5. CV test • All test run from 0-500 volts • Again, each test is at a 5 volt step, taking 5 data points at each step • Averages are plotted, both capacitance vs. voltage and 1/C^2 vs. voltage

  6. Results • Don’t clearly understand why the tests were all so vastly different from each other • Why were some of the tests for the CV negative and some of the positive? • Why did one of the decay while the others seemed to just stay constant, or near constant?

  7. Plans • Continue working on various tests of the diamond sensor • Continue running IV/ start running CV tests on the silicon sensors
