Beginning • You will watch a cinematic cutscene to set up the story: • The hero’s parents are killed by the Shadow King who destroys the legendary artifact: Fang Crystal which places a fatal curse on the hero • The hero’s name (identity) is stolen-wiping their existence off the face of the planet, and gives our hero amnesia-making them forget who they are
Tutorial Section • Cinematic cutscene con’t: • Flashforward to the present: the hero is now older and living on the streets undercover, without any idea of who they are but have had recent flashbacks of the same dark past incident. • Telepathic voice urgently tells our hero to go to Lux
Learning the controls • You will learn the controls of the game, main screen features, how to save, and the item screen features
Enter playable world • In the City of Lux: • Meet Mentor, learn about the shops • Told that you must make sense of your recent flashbacks by talking to NPCs
In the game you have the option to talk to as many people as you’d like. There is one old man who you must talk to that holds valuable information but the others are optional. What do you choose? Talk to all Talk to two informants Talk to old man
You find out… A hint to defeat the shadow king. The weather is directly related to your progress throughout the game. Fang Crystal, was broken into 3 pieces and scattered throughout the city. A fatal curse was then placed on the lineage of the family that owned it. The only way to reverse the curse is to find all the pieces. Go to the first Tower to collect your first piece. There is a rumor that a girl, from a highly respected family of sorcerers, killed her parents. He thinks she’s innocent.

Side Quest In the land of Lux, there are 3 different ways to interact with Non-playable characters. What do you want to do? Private Action Leading Conversation
Side Quest A man wants you to deliver a letter to his younger brother who should be investigating how to help the city change from its ominous state to its previous glory. The brother should be at the library but there is a possibility he is goofing off at the arcade. You must track him down and deliver the letter! Follow the Anonymous tip to the library. Follow the Trustworthy friend who says he’s at the arcade.

Private Action You approach a guard in town. He says, “I heard a rumor on TV that the child to the noble sorcerers family murdered her parents. Why would she do such a horrible thing?? Come to think of it, you resemble the face on the wanted posters!” A.) How dare you accuse me of being the murderer! B.) Did the TV broadcast have credible sources or is it just a rumor?
