  3. The most important mountains 1.AMBOTO: Amboto ( 1331m ) is a limestone mountain of the Western Basque Country, the highest peak of the Urkiola range and not far from the pass from the pass of the Urkiolamendi between Durango and Vitoria - Gazteiz. O.

  4. 2.URKIOLA: Urkiola is a mountain range of the Basque mountain in Biscay near Durango, in the western Basque Country, Spain. The range's highest mountain is Anboto (1331 m). The range runs from west to east and forms the water divide of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean basins. A.

  5. 3.GORBEA: Gorbea or Gorbeia is a mountain and massif, the highest in Biscay and Alava (Basque Country, Spain), with a height of 1,481 m. The main mountain is a round grass-covered summit where a 20-metre-tall metallic cross has been constructed to reach the altitude of 1,500 m. I.

  7. LA ARBOLEDA La Arboleda is a mountain which has 398 meters and in old ages it was a mining area, in what there was a lot of activity and the English travelled here to trade with it. O.

  8. THE FUNICULAR It is a kind of elevator that s use to climb to La Reineta, a neighborhood of La Arboleda. It was inaugurated in 1926. A.

  15. Kinds of animals: mammals: the fox, the genet, the pottoka, the buzzard, the sheep,... aquiatic animals: the mojarra, the peaked,thereal bream, the golden... birds: starling, meadow pipit, wheat,  bullfinch, wren... mollusk: snail, octopus, clam... A,I,O.

  16. Some common animals 1.THE POTTOKA Here are speacific type of horses, Potoka. Is soo small and with a lot of hair. Is very resistent to low temperatures. O.

  17. 2.THE PASTOR VASCO: Another specie of Basque country is Pastor Vasco. This dog is to shepherd the sheep, is a medium size animal and hairy. Now is a international dog, and nowadays is used in cattle raising. A.
