Meeting with the Emall Team August 4thPhase I topics of discussion were:

        • Navigation Folder Tree
          • Placement of the folder tree above the content.
              • Changes to the Tree Structure
              • Browser should be capable of being changed. We had also discussed and determined to
  • include the capability for the Commercial Tents now managed by DSCP Construction and
  • Equipment. Additionally DSCP will need to include data to notify and direct customers to
  • C&E for the COTS Shelters.
          • Pictures for Parts and
          • “Tentnet “ had not been intended as the name for the Specialty Store.
          • Protocol to create new specialty store – need to develop the data flow between AC
    • Inc/DSCP/Emall to populate Phase II Items.
          • Data Population for new tents - need to develop the data flow between AC Inc/DSCP/Emall to populate
          • Phase II Items.
          • Content Manager – We need to determine the status and capabilities of the content manager.
          • Meetings - biweekly telephone meeting be reinstated during Phase II.
          • Meeting at DLIS 18 August 09 to include Website development SME

There are over 40 different types of TEMPER . With the most popular

Type IV 32’ TEMPERS containing over 150 individual components.

DSCP has funded SBCCOM/Natick to provide updates to the Technical

Data Package. Tentnet/Emall Site will reflect these updates as required.

Arctic Hexagonal

Hexagonal, Lightweight 5-soldier Arctic The Hex Tent is a six sided, pyramidal design made with breathable wind resistant, cotton sateen cloth.  The breathable properties of the cloth allows the transfer of interior condensation to the outside. This pole supported tent is still the current design tent.

10 Soldier Arctic Tent

The 10 Soldier Arctic Tent is a six sided, pyramidal design made with breathable wind resistant, cotton sateen cloth. This tent features front and rear door openings lace lines allow two or more tents to be complexed together. This pole supported tent is the current design.
