ABSTRACT A blogshop is an online journal that acts as a shop or store that uses blogging facilities as their trading platform on free blogging platforms such as Blogger, Tumblr, WordPress and Posterous. Blogshops offer more personalized services to their customers. This study investigates 60 popular blogshops to determine whether trust attributes are employed in these blogshops and to identify trust attributes relevant to Malaysian blogshop context. The study reveals that Blogger is the most popular blogging platform as all the blogshops are hosted at Blogger. Female blogshop entrepreneurs employ trust attributes as owner’s e-mail address, pricing/postage clearly stated, credible and trustworthy, products, search function, online customer service and link to social networks.
