Classroom TechnologiesTrends – Open Discussion • Classrooms equipped with some element of “Lecture Capture” – Software or Hardware • Lecture material available to students prior to class – class can then be more of a discussion of the material rather than a traditional lecture. “Flipped Class” • Increased Distant Learning classrooms and courses • Smart Boards and or White Board capture devices • Students interaction – I-Clickers • Wireless connectivity for presentation from tablet device – R & D • Dual projection systems in Larger Classrooms – Chemistry A103 • Document Cameras in all classrooms • Other ideas?
