  3. How much does it cost? • $49 for registration today, pays thru December 2010! ($26 for registered adults) Boy’s Life Magazine. • Campouts, special events are extra, but affordable. • Scout can earn free campouts by selling POPCORN! • $50 - $100 for Uniform, book, etc. depending on options.

  4. How much time does it take? • Den meetings are twice per month for about an hour. • Pack meetings are the last Thursday of the month for about an hour. • Campouts, special events (Pinewood Derby, Space Derby, etc).

  5. What is my role? • All dens (4-8 boys) need a trained den leader and assistant den leader. • Parents, guardians (AKELA) are present. • Responsibility for meetings and events is shared by all. • Committee members, event coordinators, pack leadership.

  6. What’s in it for the boys? • Learn about leadership • Respect for God, country, fellow man • Cub scout motto - “Do Your Best” • Physical Skills • Group skills • Personal independence • FUN!!!

  7. What kind of activities • Pack Calendar • Campouts • Space Derby • Scouting for Food – done in July • Balcones Park Clean up – done in August • Ship trips • Pinewood Derby • Report to State Parade • www.pack90austin.org
