    • No researchers have been specified in the Study Design so teachers are free to approach the content from a number of different directions

    • Visual Perception is now in Unit 1 (currently in Unit 3). This allows teachers to explore this topic from different angles depending on student interest without having to worry about exams.

    • Investigating the whole lifespan from birth to death

    • Researchers are specified so you need to investigate all and complete an investigation into one stage of the lifespan

    • You need to study one stage of the lifespan in depth from the four different perspectives

      • Biological

      • Behavioural

      • Cognitive

      • Socio-cultural

  • You have approximately 7 weeks to cover AOS 1 (taking all the interruptions into account)

  • First DP (make it activity based rather than theoretical)

    • Organise speakers/careers counsellor to talk about the different fields of psychology

    • Get the students to carry out job searches in newspapers and online (e.g. seek.com)
