Carolina TESOL November, 2013 ACCESS for ELLs • Sixth Year in NC: Spring 2014 • Testing Window February 1 – March 14, 2014(Students entering after March 7 do not have to be tested on ACCESS) • Exit Standards: (COC) (K &Tier B or C grades 1-12) Comprehensive Objective Composite A minimum score of 4.8 Composite AND 4.0 Reading AND 4.0 Writing

  7. Alternate ACCESS for ELLs • Included in state testing program • Eligible students are identified in the Consolidated Federal Data Collection (CFDC  Reports  Alt Access) • Tiers must be set to ‘T’

  8. ACCESS 2.0 Field Test • North Carolina is participating in the field test for 13-14 • Districts were selected randomly • Gives NC insight on test and a opportunity to give feedback
