  2. setting Characters • At the park • At his house • At the field trip • Something I noticed about the setting it is like my vacation. • Stink • Judy • If I was Judy I would probably not want to make potions with my little brother because it would smell.

  3. Stink • Stink was shocked when the judge was gone at the Stinky Sneakers Contest. Stink annoyed Judy with his smelly sneakers. Stink shocked Judy when he was a judge. Stink was very excited about being a judge. Stink and Sophie were going to compete against each other at the stinky sneakers contest. Stink is very intelligent because he likes to make potions. Stink is trustworthy because he said he would be a judge and he was. Stink was a good judge.

  4. Author’s Message • The problem was when one of the judge’s got sick. Stink was Sophie were going to compete against each other. They solved the problem Stink dropped out of the contest. Stink learned that being a judge was more fun then competing. I learned if I was competing against my brother, if he won I would still be happy for him because all that maters is we tried.

  5. Book Recommendation • I am reading the book Stink and The World’s Worst Super Stinky Sneakers Contest by Megan McDonald. The genre is realistic fiction. Stink and his class went on a field trip. When they got back to the school their teacher handed out papers that said you could join a contest. When Stink got home he told his parents that he wanted to join. Stink and Sophie were going to compete against each other. I would recommend this book to a friend because it was one of the best books that I have ever read because it was very good and all the characters were funny.

  6. Connections • Text toself= In the book, Stink had smelly shoes. It reminds me of when my little brother had stinky shoes. • Text to self = In the book, Judy helped Stink make a project. It reminds me of when I helped my little brother with a preschool project. • Text toself= In the book, the food got on fire at the house. It reminds of when our chicken stir fry got on fire.
