  3. What They Eat Fish Squid Octopus Belugas favorite food are fish, squid and octopus. They eat up to 50 pounds a meal. Belugas have 32 teeth, each tooth is about 6 inches long. They use their teeth for capturing their food. Belugas swallow their food whole.

  4. Home of the Beluga Whales • Lives in the arctic waters of the world. • Belugas like cold water. • They keep warm by having thick layers of blubber.

  5. The Enemies of the Belugas • Polar Bears • Killer Whales • Ice(can get trapped under it) • Sometimes Walruses

  6. Baby Belugas Baby Belugas are called calves. They are born alive under water. The calves are 4 to 5 feet long and weigh 75 to 100 pounds.

  7. Interesting Facts Beluga Whales: • Are very good swimmers • Are mammals not fish • Breathe air not water • Are warm-blooded • Give birth to live babies • Make human faces(blowing kisses)
