  5. 2006/07 NPCC Grant Cycle • 5 $5,000 grants and 2 grants up to $750 awarded through NPCC • 2 $5,000 grants supported through UW Center for Genomics & Healthcare Equality • Grant awards to WA, OR, MT, ND • Breast cancer awareness day; comprehensive cancer control program event; use of Native art to translate cancer statistics; youth leadership activity; tobacco and cancer education for Native foster children; cancer awareness vests for Native men; Tribal college cancer education course for health providers
