  2. The year 2002 marked the beginning of a new era Full opening of the International Library of Children’s Literature (ILCL) Kansai-kan, a new facility of the NDL, opened in October Overall revision of its website in October and started providing new online services

  3. International Library of Children’s Literature (ILCL) The original building dates from 1906.

  4. International Library of Children’s Literature (ILCL) [ Total floor area ] 6,700 square meters [ Storage capacity ] 400,000 volumes ILCL partially opened to the public on May, 2000 and started full services on May 5, 2002.
