PROPER PERCEPTION OF TRUE SPIRITUAL REVIVALGenesis 45:27; 1 Kings 17:17,22; 2 Kings 13:20,21; Romans 14:9; Ezra 9:8,9 Revival is a renewed conviction of sin and repentance, followed by an intense desire to live in obedience to God. It is giving up one's will to God in deep humility - CG Finney Revival is the moving of God's Spirit, through the power of His Word, to the hearts of His children, that resurrects to new life those areas which have been lying stagnant, dormant, or out of balance, and that results in new love and obedience to Jesus Christ - Del Fehsenfeld Jr.

PERSONAL PREPARATION FOR TRUE SPIRITUAL REVIVAL Hosea 6:1-3; Isaiah 57:15; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Hebrews 3:1,2; Psalms 138:6-8; 1 Kings 18:30 • 7 things we need to do so as to be revived; • Remember the past experiences of revival • Repent of the present evidence of retrogression • Read of present day expressions of revival • Repair the altar of prayer and worship • Refuse unprofitable substitutes of true revival • Renew our vows and consecration before the Lord • Remain in the constant state of revival and readiness for the Lord’s Coming

Conclusion • Ponder on these 7 things; • Desire for Revival • Description of Revival • Demand for Revival • Desperation for Revival • Dedication for Revival • Decision for Revival • Demonstration of Revival Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation. (Psalms 85:6,7)
