Rangers record: 5-1 Rangers overall record: 45-35 Rangers Notes By The Numbers The Rangers moved back into a first-place tie with the Angels after a 3-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rays Friday in Arlington. Blalock hammered his 17th home run of the season as right-hander Tommy Hunter earned his first major-league win.  The Rangers have gone 5-1 against the Angels this year, and their 15-4 record against AL West opponents is the best in the division Standings W L GB Hank Blalock connects for his second home run Wednesday night, a ninth-inning game-winner against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim TEXAS 45 35 - Los Angeles 45 35 - Seattle 42 39 3.5 Hamilton and Young headed to All-Star Game Oakland 34 46 11  Kevin Millwood was named Rangers Pitcher of the Month for June, when he went 4-1 with a 1.30 ERA in five starts Outfielder Josh Hamilton and third baseman Michael Young were selected to represent the Rangers at this year’s All-Star Game in St. Louis on July 14. Hamilton finished third in the American League outfield fan vote behind Boston’s Jason Bay and Seattle’s Ichiro Suzuki, while Young was added to the roster via the player vote.
