Croatia: Ordinance on VAT ammendmentsImplemented EU directive 2010/45/EU • 3 methods for VAT compliance • Electronic signature, EDI, Process controls • Explicitly expressed acceptance of the recipient needed before sending the first invoice • Specific: • Requires recording of date & time of sending AND receiving the invoice • Invoices must be archived in the same format as they were sent • Authenticity of the sender and integrity of the content must also be ensured during the invoice transmission • Uncertainty regarding the tax audit requirements

E-INVOICE GATEWAY Portal Content Structure • Knowledge-Base: Contains high quality content such as CEN documents, best practice documentation and country related information • Country Information Manager (CIM): National e-Invoicing experts who provide, on a voluntary basis, information relating to e-invoicing in their country and are able to refer relevant organizations and/or companies • Organizations: Lists solution provider and/or initiative in your country. Companies self-elect to enlist onto this section. The information provided is not subject to independent verification • Events : Section populated by event organizers and is not subject to independent verification
