Approach • Reviewed business process • Regulatory work of issuing and managing permits • Used an application (Report of Waste Discharge) from Region 8 to create a regulatory measure* in a test environment • Evaluated critical components of CIWQS * A regulatory measure is a CIWQS record representing any type of action the Water Boards take. Permits and enforcement actions are different types of regulatory measures.
