  4. Germany at JINR • 1991: • The First Agreement between BMBF and JINR was signed concerning cooperation and use of experimental facilities at JINR. • 1994 – 1997 – 2000 - 2003: • The BMBF – JINR Agreements were continued. BMBF-JINR Cooperation

Workshops • The aims of the Workshop are: • to evaluate the cooperation in the framework of the Agreement and beyond it, • to conclude whether this cooperation is beneficial for the Dubna and German physicists, and • to discuss proposals for the programme of cooperation to be carried out in future.   8. Germany at JINR • Today the cooperation between JINR and German Scientific Groups is based • on the BMBF - JINR Agreement, and • on Bilateral Agreements concluded between JINR and German Scientific Groups. BMBF-JINR Cooperation

Conclusion • The cooperation between JINR and German research groups has shown success in the past and holds promise for the future. • This cooperation has always been mutually beneficial. • Coordination of scientific programmes and realization of perspective projects is an evident example of the collaboration now going on in a well-organized way.
