In Person Evaluation Process Contact ALA Technical Director at jesse@albertalacrosse.com and cc lisa@albertalacrosse.com Provide ALA Technical Director 3 dates of practice times including location and times. The ALA Technical Director will book an Evaluator for the coach requesting the evaluation. The home club is billed $50 per evaluation.

Challenging Community Development Email your Lacrosse Resume to the ALA Technical Director at jesse@albertalacrosse.com and cc lisa@albertalacrosse.com for approval ALA Technical Director will approval/deny the challenge. If approved, the ALA Technical Director will provide a code to challenge on line. The cost is $15 which is billed to home club. • The minimum standard for challenging the Community –Development • Evaluation is as follows; • Certified in another sport as a coach & has played lacrosse • at the Midget level (U-17) or above, or • Has completed the Multi-Sport part A & B training & has played • lacrosse at the Midget level (U-17) or above, or • Has played lacrosse at a competitive level at Junior or above • Creating your CLA PROFILE • Go to: http://nccp.lacrosse.ca/register.php • Fill in your personal information • Enter your access ID (which was provided in the email from ALA Technical Director) • CLICK ON NCCP training and CLA tools ($15.00 option)

Registering to Challenge • Once profile is created click on STATUS (in the menu options) • Click on community development box • Select CHALLENGE to enter resume • Advise ALA Technical Director that the resume as been submitted the ALA Technical Director will approve/deny challenge • Once approved coach will have access to workbook • Complete Community Development Workbook and Submit to CLA for Evaluation

Benefits of the On Line Coaching System For coaches who already have their required training and certification, for a fee of $15 the coach can have online access to: • The CLA Drill Manual for better player performance • Sample practice plans and practice planning forms to assist in coaching • Sample seasonal plans and seasonal planning forms to assist in coaching • Tip of the Week • Ask the Coach • Coaching Tools Video for Community Development and Comp-Intro • Additional tools as they become available

  14. NewFor 2013 1. The intention of the Community Development Challenge is to allow coaches to progress to the Competitive Introduction Clinic more quickly, however they are NOT required to attend a Community Development Clinic! 2. Coaches who coach the age groups of Bantam and higher - may attend two (2) clinics in a season NOTE – Coaches must complete Community Development before attending a Competitive Introduction clinic in the same year.

  15. CLA Team Registration Form • MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS: MAs found to have signed this form with false coach qualifications or player information shall forfeit entry to any national championship in the following year.
