11. Did you know that according to last year’s waste audit, 75% of the waste Wilson produces is eitherrecyclable orcompostable?Ain’t that cool?Let’s put our trash in the right bins and do our part to protect our environment.

12. In classrooms & offices, you can ONLY RECYCLE CLEAN PAPER PRODUCTS. Everything else goes in the black trash bins. Okay to recycle in the BLUE bins: • paper w/ scotch tape or staples • colored paper • post-its • paper w/ pen/pencil/ink markings • crumpled paper • cardboard

13. In the cafeteria & atrium, we will compost AND recycle! We need volunteersto help monitor the bins and educate students on the new program. If you’re interested and want community service hours, please tell us!

14. In hallways, teacher breakrooms, and common areas like Room 416, we will recycle clean paper products and empty containers (plastic, tin, glass) in separate BLUE bins.

We will host an interest meeting on Wednesday, September 3 in room 309 during STEP aka lunch. There are four positions available: Class President, Class VP, Trea$urer, and Secretary. Wear your college gear to school and help us create an environment where students are encouraged to pursue higher education and realize their full potential.
