  2. Introduction • Humanbeings compete withotheranimals and organisms of theplanetforresources and space. Theworldpopulationisancontinousincreasing factor and thestandards of living, forhumanbeings, are improving. Thismeanswe can affordtohave cars, buildhouses, eat as muchfood as wedesire, etc. Howeverhumanactivitieshave lead topolution of theplanet, that can laterbecome a permanentdamage, especially in air and water.

  3. Impacts of humans • Theworld of humanpopulation has increasedmassively and itcontinuestoincrease. As metionedbefore, peopleenjoyhighstandards of living tosatisfytheirwants and theirneeds. Howeverthis has causedsomestrainsonthe global enviroment. Example: • Rawmaterials are beingused up rapidly • More wasteisbeingproduced • Non-renewableresources are beingused up rapidly (coal, natural gas and oil) • More pollutionisbeingproduced

Factsaboutwater • More thantwothirds of thehumanbodyismadeout of water. • Wateris a fundementalhumanneed, eachpersonrequiresthe use of 20-50 liters of cleanwater a dayfordrinking, cooking, cleaning, etc. • Drinkingwaterserves as a lubricant in digestion and italsohelpsregulatethebodytemperature. • Wateralsosuppliesoxygen and nutrientstothecells. • About 70% of theearthismadeout of water, butonly 1% of thatwaterispuredrinkingwater.

  5. Theimportance of water: In otherwordswaterisimportantbecauseitisthefundementalneedfor living, notonlyforhumansbutalsoforother living creatures. Howeverwateraffectsotherfactorssuch as education, health, women, men, children and poverty. Ifwewereto imagine thatthereis no more cleanwater in theplanetpeoplewould die of dehydration, farmerswouldnotbeabletogrowcrops, livestock and animalswouldbecomeextinct, thusthatwould lead tofoodshortages and povertylevelswouldincrease. Theneducationlevelswilldrop and childrenwoulddstoprecievinganeducation. Also deseases and virusesbecomewidespreadduetounpurewaterbeingcollected. In conclusionwaterisveryimportantforourexistance.

  7. Whyis air important? • Air is important for many different organisms for different reasons.One of the main reasons it is important for humans is that it contains oxygen - which we breathe.Furthermore, it enables the removal of our waste CO2 - which is taken up plants.
