FY13 Processing Schedule • Validations same as 12K for first versions of manifest • County of Residence – no checks yet • Summer Withdraw Record – no checks yet • Early versions – Warnings – then Fatal/Critical • Resolve - Missing Student • Resolve - Missing Staff • Reports will be delayed • All October 13K reports released by end of October • Daily processing schedule for K – prior to 5 p.m. • Post Processing – Wednesday and Friday submissions • Reports on Thursday and Monday

FY13 Changes • Special Education • Delete CNGT (Consent) Outcome • Must now use • CNGI – Consent for Initial Evaluation (IETR) • CNGR – Review Evaluation (RETR) • CNGR – Consent other than IETR/RETR • Add IEP Outcome to indicate all services are provided in a correctional facility (non-DYS) • May also have new How Received Codes • Add Special Education Event for ‘Amended IEP’ • Only required for changes to data that impact EMIS • Testing, Outcome, Secondary Planning, etc. • Amendments do not reset ‘timeline’ • Optional to report other amendments, but can report all

FY13 Changes • Special Education (continued) • Special Ed Event record required for students with disability served at non-pub • How Received = 6 • New Event Code = (?ISP) • New Outcome Codes • Events that take place this year – 6/1 to 12/1 • Non-resident students – district where the non-pub is located reports, district of residence does not report (same reporting as in past) • KG student, 5 years old on Dec 1 will need FN270 • Non-pub students eligible not served • Same reporting – aggregate number on District record

  8. FY13 Changes • Special Education continued • Secondary Planning must now be reported as part of the IEP record that is in effect on the date they turn 14. • Gifted Measure on LRC • Level of service and performance level of gifted students

October Reporting • Special Education Event Record • All students with a disability or suspected of having a disability • Any reportable event from 6/1/2012-12/1/2012 • If IEP event is missed in 12N, cannot be corrected • When reporting new RIEP, use Non-Compliance Reason = 09 • New enrolled students, report all events that occurred • Dates prior to 6/1/2012 will be included • District of Residence and District Servicing/Educating students with disability report • JVSDs and ESCs do not report

  10. Draft Data Collection Tool • Currently in Draft • New Event Codes included • AIEP – Amended IEP • PISP – Parent Placed Individual Services Plan • Not available in DASL or IEP Anywhere • May begin reporting at yearend
