Project Process • Planning Phase- Met with Client and developed idea for the project. • Requirements Phase- Developed a list of requirements for our system, including functional and non-functional. • Design Phase- Decided on what color schemes would be used for the project, along with the overall design of the system • Development and Testing- Developed the project at hand and tested all attributes.

  3. Project at Hand Create an updated website for Radford’s Off Campus Student Council. Resource for students Provides important and relevant information for living off campus.

Problems Encountered-Risks • People Risks • Client changed requirements, uncooperative teammates, and team members absent • Requirements Risks • Requirements took too much time causing not all to be met. • Problems collecting content before the final project deadline. • Estimation Risks • Underestimating the scope of the project caused a reduction of the project’s functionality.

Problem Solutions-Risks • People Risks • Managed time wisely to allow time for changes to be made • Set Consequences for missing important team functions or being uncooperative • Requirements Risks • Managed time wisely to so we could meet as many requirements as possible. This led to the only one unmet requirement. • Split content collection up between group. • Estimation Risks • Set priorities to what was most important to get finished for the project. We made sure all of the most important features were completed first before moving on.

  14. Future Enhancements • Q & A with RU Police/Radford Police Dept. • Video with Dean of Student Affairs • Map of area surrounding campus • A link added to the portal so the site can be more accessible to students.
