  1. 9/11 The Day my Life Changed Forever! Brandy Velazquez 1st Period 9/6/12

  2. My name is Nelson Ramirez and I worked at a investment banking firm that was located in the World Trade Center (Tower 1). I live in Queens with my two daughters and wife. This is the story of how one day my life changed forever!

  3. On the beautiful morning of September 11th, 2001, my wife and I had an argument over which school my oldest daughter would be attending next year. It was a ruthless battle that left both of us angry, and I ended up leaving the house late for work. It was 8:30am and I should have already been on the 22nd floor of the North Tower and I was just leaving the house. Even more mad, I screamed and cussed as I walked out of the train at 8:45am when I looked up and thought their was an explosion in the North Tower. I started running to the building, paper, body parts, ash were falling from the sky. What was happening? Then at 9:03am, I watch another plane crash into the South Tower. I immediately knew we were under attack.

  4. My cell phone did not work and people were running frantic around the streets. What about my friends? Do I enter the building and try to save them? Firemen, police officers, civilians, everyone was trying to rescue the people trapped in the building. I heard that the pentagon was attacked as well, but was unable to know who did this to us or why this happened. I found a van that was giving out water to people as they ran around the city. I decided I would help distribute water as I looked for my co-workers. Sadiojfaposdfiujaposdfasl;d;lifjaospidfjpoaisfdupoasidfuopasidfuoasidf

  5. I didn’t know where to go or what to do. Traffic was blocked, trains were closed, I could not leave Manhattan and was beginning to panic. I knew I had to get out of the city and followed the thousands of people crossing the bridges trying to get away from the ash, dust, and smell of burning flesh. The city was shut down.

  6. I was so full of emotions: scared, anxious, nervous, upset, but most of all I was grateful I was alive. If I wouldn’t have had the fight with my wife, I would have been in that building and not walking on the bridge to safety.

  7. After 4 hours I finally arrived home to my wonderful wife and two daughters. I was so happy to be safe and out of harms way but could not help watching TV and all of the events that happened during the day. Every channel, every hour was coverage showing the attack, asking for donations, support, showing the terrorists cheering. What was happening? Why did they do this? There were conspiracy theories, special reports, Osama Bin Laden’s video. No matter how awful and dangerous it was. I couldn’t stop watching. It made me more and more grateful for my life!

  8. I Will NEVER FORGET! • After the destruction and the years of clean up in NYC and in Washington DC, I still remember that awful day. It will be stored in my mind forever. However, I am still grateful for my life and my family and thankful for the memorials that stand there today! We will never forget, we will cherish and respect those who have fallen! We miss you!
