  6. HOW do I become a good GMSP pupil? All of us will create our own kingdom in our hearts where we decide who will rule “ Sanctify The Lord God in your hearts” 1 Peter 3:15 Sanctify means ‘set apart’ God as our Lord and ruler

Examine and improve our ‘Default Settings’ Practice Self-leadership by… • Taking action • Living each day to the fullest • Knowing what success looks like to you • Knowing what your goals are. • And most importantly knowing that you’re going to achieve those goals regardless of what other people say, think, or do.

  21. Why do I need goals ? Goals can help us change and IMPROVE your default settings- habits! Habit • Routines of behaviourthat are repeated regularly and automatically • Fixed way of thinking, feeling or doing …

Set Clear Goals in all aspects of your life Physical Growth – Weight, height, diet, exercise Social- Emotional Growth - SEL, relationships Psychological Growth – Respecting Self, Loving self & others Intellectual Growth – Academic Goals Spiritual Growth – Find time to learn about God pray for your well-being and give thanks always!

  25. Growing in Stature with God and man… Dear God, Please help us to grow in Stature with God with the help of your teachers and parents in 2013. We need your help to grow our self-leadership, uphold our school values well and practise the 4Ds,Dedication, Discipline, Diligence and Determination in order to become what we are capable of. We pray all these in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  26. Class Reflections…. Here are some questions for you to consider when deciding what goals to set for yourself this year. How are your relationships with your peers? with your teachers? With your parents? How can you use our school values well in your daily life? What attitude would you use in school, at home? How would you treat your work, friends and parents this year? How would you keep yourself healthy this year? Physically and Psychologically? How would you achieve your academic goals this year? How would you uphold school rules and teachers’ expectations of you? Can you think of any more questions? How can you become a better leader- self-leader, class leader, student leader, good sibling/ brother/ sister?
