  2. Fluctuate • A quantity that changes from time to time. Number can rise or fall. • The patient’s blood pressure fluctuated during his stay at the hospital. • The students’ quiz scores fluctuated from week to week.

  3. Constant • a quantity that does notchange; remains the same throughout.

  4. Abundance • A quantity with plenty; a supply that is more than sufficient

  5. Vital • Very necessary; highly important; essential • Oxygen is vital to life on earth • Clean water is vital to the survival of humans on earth
