  3. [ implementation schedule ] > September the 11th, 2003: (Polish script) for .pl domains only ****NASK is the first European Registry offering IDNs**** > September the 18th, 2003: (Polish script) for 3rd level domain names like: .com.pl .net.pl .org.pl.biz.pl Andrzej Bartosiewicz, CENTR

[ consultations ] > internal consultations: • mainly with Partners (Registrars) – from our point of view, Registrars play most important role in communication with end-users (domain name holders) • direct feedback from end users > communication: • info to the press • NASK’s web page, RSS channels, magazines like “Computerworld”, daily newspapers, << domainers’ >> portals Andrzej Bartosiewicz, CENTR

  6. [ consultations ] > external consultations: • with other ccTLDs • mainly CENTR meetings: General Assembles, Administrative and Technical workshops • directly with other TLDs (like consultations with .RU before implementing Cyrillic script) • during ICANN meetings Andrzej Bartosiewicz, CENTR

[ consultations – results ] > the main results of the consultation process are as follows: • First Come, First Served method • no “pre-registrations” • no “sunrise” period • no special rules for ACE domain names, • a combination of characters from different character sets is not allowed • no variants • no bundling • no association with languages – no “language tags” Andrzej Bartosiewicz, CENTR
