  1. O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University About O.O. Bogomolets:Brilliant scientist and teacher, famous organizer of scientific work, public political leader, ferventpatriot of his Motherland, O.O. Bogomolets remains in the memory of his contemporaries and followers.A person of greatest erudition and powerful initiative, O.O. Bogomolets made a number of scientific discoveries, created the concepts and theories, which opened the new page in the world of medical science, pathophysiology in particular. His name takes the right place in same row with famous physiologists and pathologists of the first half of XX century.His works made great impression on many directions of experimental medicine, such as reactivity of organism and immunity with theoretical and experimental explanations for the special role in realization of these functions in "physiological system of connective tissue", endocrinology, gerontology, hemotransfusiology, oncology, etc.
