  5. Student Information Release • We seek to publicize the accomplishments of our rowers. • NCSD district newsletters, Daily Gazette, WNYT online, NiskyRowing.org, our Facebook page, twitter, etc. • We publish seasonal membership directories • Student name, parent name, email, phone number

  6. Student Information Release • Information release policy consistent with NCSD • You may opt out in writing. • See web site for form.

  7. Athlete Code of Conduct • Agreement by Signing Grey Card • Read the Athletic Handbook • Prohibits • Hazing, Bullying • Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco • Cutting Classes • Fighting • Much More • Extends to the Internet

Head of the Mohawk October 4th -This is Our Home Regatta Transition Year Last Year of Collaboration with ARC We will Run Regatta Alone Going Forward Last Year for FNR Chair Need a Transition Regatta Chairperson Looking for someone to Head Concessions At least 30 Volunteers Needed Need marshalls, timers, food servers, traffic cotrol, etc. There is a job for everyone Email to sign up on Voluteer Spot coming soon Cleanup and Training Day is Sunday – September 28

  14. Away Regattas • Tail of the Fish- Saratoga • Head of the Housatonic- Shelton, CT and/or • New England High School Regional Championships- Worcester, MA • Head of the Charles- Boston • Head of the Fish- Saratoga • Fall Mod Champs- TBD

  15. Home Regattas • Head of the Mohawk • Spartan Sweeps

  16. Regatta Expenses • Program fees cover everything except Head of the Charles. • Girls have a guaranteed 8+. • Boys are in the lottery for an 8+. • More information in mid-September.

  17. Chuckwagon • Food Costs Included in Program Fees • All away regattas except Head of the Charles • Each team will again “own” one regatta.

Chuckwagon Volunteers • What Volunteers Do We Need? • Volunteer to tow Chuckwagon. • Volunteers to prep food ahead. • One coordinator to oversee each regatta. • 3 volunteers at a time to cook, serve and clean up. • Over 60 HS Families • 2 Hours per Family for the Season • We will make sure you don’t miss your child’s race.

  19. Transportation • Rowers must ride the bus to the regatta. • Remember, your rower may have to help load the trailer or take down the Chuckwagon. • Your rower will likely want to stay and cheer on teammates.

  20. Transportation • Rowers may only leave the regatta on the bus, or with their parent or guardian. • Exception: parents who file an authorized driver form may take other rowers home, with a note from their parents. • Sign rowers out at the food tent.
