  1. Hi, my name is Aneeka! I am a sophomore in the College of Engineering. I am majoring in Biomedical Engineering and getting a minor in Spanish. I was born in Fayetteville, AR and I’ve lived here all my life, and I love it here! I have three younger sisters, one a senior in high school, and the other two in 3rd grade. In addition to being a peer mentor this year, I am the secretary for the Biomedical Engineering Society and a staff photographer for the Arkansas Traveler (the U of A newspaper). Some of my hobbies include photographing, listening to all kinds of music, belly dancing, and spending time with friends. As a peer mentor, I hope to help my mentees assimilate into the college life. It’s a challenging transition, so I want to guide and assist you through any academic, social, or personal obstacles you may face. Aneeka Majid
