  3. Introduction To Sketch • A sketch is a rapidly executed freehand drawing that is not usually intended as a finished work. Sketches can be made in any drawing medium. The term is most often applied to graphic work executed in a dry media such as silverpoint, graphite, pencil, charcoal or pastel • A sculptor might model three-dimensional sketches in clay, plasticine or wax.

INTRODUCTION TO COLLAGE • Collage is a technique of an art production, primarily used in the visual arts, where the artwork is made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. • A collage may sometimes include newspaper clippings, ribbons, bits of colored or handmade papers, portions of other artwork or texts, photographs and other found objects, glued to a piece of paper or canvas. • The term collage derives from the French "collar" meaning "glue Akhil Juneja
