Colorful Easter eggs is a widespread Christian tradition known, starting from Armenia, Russia, Greece, the Mediterranean, to central Europe. In general, the egg is a symbol of the Resurrection art history - ancient religious paintings, most often in the background of the painting. Folklore preserve many Christian legends explaining why flushed Easter eggs and why they have become a symbol of the Resurrection Feast. One of them tells that Mary, who had come to mourn son crucified, sitting beside basket with eggs cross and they were red with the blood dripping from the wounds of Jesus.
