  1. Dreaming with God September 1, 2013 Acts 2

  2. John 5:19-20 “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.” The Trinity is perfect unity The Trinity always co-labors Adam and Eve were created in His image!

  3. Man’s choice to be independent could not coexist with The perfect interdependence Of the Trinity

  4. The rebellion of man could not coexist with The perfect unity of the Trinity

  5. Independence vs Interdependence C.S. LewisMere Christianity “The moment you have a self at all, there is a possibility of putting yourself first - wanting to be the centre - wanting to be God, in fact. That was the sin of Satan: and that was the sin he taught the human race- …What Satan put into the heads of our remote ancestors was the idea that they 'could be like Gods' - could set up on their own as if they had created themselves - be their own masters - invent some sort of happiness for themselves outside God, apart from God. And out of that hopeless attempt has come...the long terrible story of man trying to find something other than God which will make him happy.”

  6. Acts 2 • When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tonguesas the Spirit enabled them.

  7. Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? • Parthians, Medes and Elamites • Residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia • Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia • Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene • Visitors from Rome ,Cretans and Arabs We hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?” Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”

  8. Acts 2: 17-18 In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your young men will see visions, Your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. Hear what God is saying See what God is doing See Heaven invading Earth
