Energy Efficiency Portfolio – Program Background • PG&E serves approximately 15 million customers • 1 in 20 Americans • Large scale impact • Since 1990, PG&E Programs have: • Saved over 60,000 GWh of energy through efficiency & conservation • Avoided construction of 15 large power plants • From 1976-2010 PG&E Programs have: • Avoided release of more than 168 million metric tons of CO2 into the atmosphere
