Information about the Poll • The poll was conducted on-site by CIVIS Centre for Sociological, Political and Psychological Analysis and Investigations • Amount of the national sample: 1152 people aged 18 or more; additional sample in Chișinău municipality – 397 people; the total amount of the sample in Chișinău municipality - 662 people • Representativeness: the national sample is representative for the adult population of the Republic of Moldova, with a maximal error of +3.0%; The sample for Chişinău municipality is representative for the adult population of Chişinău municipality, with a maximal error of ± 4%. • Period of data gathering: May, 6 – 24, 2011. The interviews were conducted at the respondents’ place. • The analysis of the sample structure obtained on-site revealed the concordance between the distribution of the population according to the available statistical data and those obtained, with the admissible statistical deviation. A significant difference was remarked within the structure women/men, women being over-represented, and within age groups, young people and adults aged 18-44 being under-represented • The presented results are balanced. The difference between balanced and non-balanced results does not overpass 1,9% with regard to any question.
