  3. Map of the Netherlands • The Netherlands is a low flat land however in Limburg some hills can rise up to 322m the Netherlands need to use land efficiently as half of it’s land is underwater

The flag of the Netherlands The flag of the Netherlands is a horizontal tricolour of red white and blue it is the oldest tricolour flag(three coloured flag) The flag was originally orange instead of red in respect for William of orange however the dye was unstable and change red. As a result in the mid 17th century the flag was changed to red permanently

Famous for polders A polder is a low-lying tract of land enclosed by embankments (barriers) known as dikes that forms an artificial hydrological entity, meaning it has no connection with outside water other than through manually operated devices. The Dutch have a long history of reclamation of marshes and fenland, resulting in some 3,000 polders nationwide. About half the total surface area of polders in north-west Europe is in the Netherlands

  12. Animals of the Netherlands There are so many types of animals that are native to the Netherlands. The list includes animals such as bats, hares, rodents, birds, weasels and even wild boar, elk and roe deer. A major contributing factor to the animal population in any given country is the habitat. The Netherlands has what is called a maritime climate. There are cool summers with temperatures averaging nineteen degrees Celsius and mild winters

Soon after finishing his exam van derVliet became assistant editor for the Academy Award-winning 1995 film Antonia, • After taking part of the team that won the 1996 award for Best Foreign Language Film, van derVliet started a film editing career
