  2. Venus is an outer planet and Venus is the second closest planet to the sun.

  3. The size of Venus in diameter is 7,521 miles or 12,104 km which is the same size as earth.

  4. Venus’s temperature is 480*C or 870*F. The days are 243 earth days and the years are 225 earth days.

  5. Venus is made of a central iron core and a rocky mantle similar to earth’s.

  6. Venus has no moons and it is the hottest planet in our Solar system and spins the other way more slowly than earth.

  7. Venus was named after a Roman Goddess of love.Venusis covered with fast moving sulphuric acid clouds which trap heat from the sun.
