    6. Student Learning Many visited the site several times ~ Evidence of team work? Several issues : Headroom, Stair location, difference in height, entry One group posted the plan / section drawings of the site Ensured collaborative learning Very intensive ~ more contact time required

    9. Student Feedback Innovative thinking within a team environment. Ensuring individual contribution is a challenge. Achievable learning outcomes, interesting and enjoyable.

    10. Learning outcomes Estimate dead, live and imposed loads on structural members in accordance with Australian standards. ? Calculate design loads using limit state approach. ? Design steel, concrete and timber members using Australian standards. ? Design appropriate connections for the above using Australian standards. ? Present the findings of structural design in a professional manner. ?

    11. Is this LiWC Sri? Purpose of LiWC - The primary purpose of the LiWC policy is to provide the context to ensure that VU courses enable our students to become work, future and career ready. YES. The policy requires that students undertake learning activities and be assessed on work-based problem solving, research or operational tasks in an authentic professional setting. YES. Confirms with definitions of LiWC policy, Section 3. This project aligns with “Making VU” Project Commitment 5: Initiatives for the West.

    12. PBL & LiWC PBL Projects ~ Industry involvement is not necessary PBL and LiWC can be integrated ~ Feed off from each other Are all units suitable for PBL and LiWC? Motivating tail-end students? ~ Student engagement is higher.
