DEFINITION: • Verbal Communication is one way for people to communicate face-to-face some of the key components of Verbal Communication are sound, words, speaking, and language. • Verbal Communication is generally thought as spoken language. We express ourselves through words. VERBAL COMMUNICATION:

TYPES OF VERBAL COMMUNICATION: • ORAL COMMUNICATION: • Oral communication is the process of communication in which messages or information is exchanged or communicated within sender and receiver through the word of mouth. It can be divided into two ways: (a.) Speaking • (b.) Listening. • WRITTEN COMMUNICATION: • Written Communication is the process of communication in which messages or information is exchanged or communicated within sender and receiver through written form. It can be divided into two ways: (a.) Writing (b.) Reading.

  5. CHARACTERISTICS OF VERBAL COMMUNICATION: • Consider the objective. • Think about the interest level of the receiver. • Be sincere. • Use simple language and familiar words. • Be brief and precise. • Avoid vagueness. • Be polite.

  6. CONCLUSION : When using verbal and non - verbal communication, you want to make sure that you are using it correctly. You want to make sure that your attitude is positive and you use your gesture correctly. You don't want to look away when someone is speaking to you because that is rude and can hurt the other person's feelings. verbal and non - verbal communication is very important to anyone and is being used every day.
