  2. Plan Project Plan Analyze • The system that we are developing for Supercross is a website that we will use to sell our products. On this website, customers can order dirt bikes and also sign up for lessons. • With this website, we will be able to manage customer orders and keep our products up to date. We also want our website to be easy to use. • One of the feasible studies that we plan to use is the legal and contractual study, which makes sure that we have unique products and that the domain name isn’t being used. • Another feasible study we would use is that operational study, which would examine how easy to use our website is and will help customers find our products more efficiently.   6. Plan Buy vs Build Anaysis Analyze • We chose to buy our website through Oracle because we want our website to up and running as soon as possible. Comparing the cost between the two, it is a better choice for us to buy the website. We will have support if something goes wrong with our website. Since we are just starting out with our company, we do not have many resources to build off of, so buying it makes much more sense. Design Develop Test Implement Maintain

  7. Plan Process Diagram Analyze Login Process Design The customer begins by logging into the system with a userid and a password. A list of current dirt bikes are offered along with other types of products that we offer. Customers can browse through our website and look for products that interest them. The customer can purchase products or they can also exit the site if they wish to do so. Develop Test Implement Maintain

Customers then select products that they want and can review their choices before they purchase them. Then they provide their payment and shipping information.   13. Develop Plan Analyze • We chose this as our prototype because it is easy to use and navigate. ExpressionWeb makes it easy for us to make changes to our site and make it meet customer expectations. • Our website is simple and easy to navigate so customers can easily purchase our products.   15. Plan • Implementation • We will implement group training and online training. The group training is where there is a leader that trains several individuals at a time. This would be time and cost efficient. Online training is where the employees can access the training on their own time and get a better idea of how the system works. • We are going to use the plunge implementation method. This is where the training takes place before the website takes off. • For our user documentation, we will use online and hard copies of manuals.   16. Plan • Maintenance • To maintain our website, we plan to implement a help desk that can respond to questions from internal users. The help desk can discover if there is a pattern in problems that appear. They can help the system to run more efficiently. • For future maintenance, we will focus on the different types of maintenance that need to be performed, such as adaptive, corrective, perfective, and preventive.   17. Plan • Maintenance • The IT specialists will be responsible for the adaptive maintenance of the system. They will insure that the system easy for customers to use and that it is functional. • The corrective maintenance will be handled by the help desk and several main IT specialists. The help desk will make the IT specialists aware of when a problem is present and the specialists will correct the problem as quickly as they can. • The perfective maintenance will be handled by the founders (us) and the IT specialists. This maintenance will mainly be based on customer feedback and reviews of the website. We will make changes accordingly. • The IT specialists will handle the preventive maintenance. They are aware of the weak areas of the system and can prevent problems before they get too serious. They can strengthen those weak areas. Analyze Design Develop Test Implement Maintain

Plan • Maintenance Cont • During the first two months: • Daily scans will be implemented to make sure that the system is running properly • Weekly tests to make sure customers can order and check out and make sure their payment went through • Effective January 27th: • Monthly scans to make sure that the system is still functioning properly • Customer simulations will be implemented monthly • Company reports will be created quarterly to assess how smoothly the system is running • Change the design of the website periodically • Software will be updated annually • The databases will be checked monthly Analyze Design Develop Test Implement Maintain
