  4. Prakriti visited 204 schools, colleges, public places, villages, institutes • Participated in the 14 state wide awareness campaigns organized by NGOs, corporate, institutions and Government • Reached out to 1,07, 721 people

Year 2006-07 Focus: • Activities in 120 NGC schools, 40 per district • On request, visit to villages, public places and district/state level awareness events Strategy: • Workshops- State, district- teachers and youth • Visits • Internships (4 youth) and curricula projects (8 youth) • Annual event

Year 2007-08 Focus: • Intensive projects in 31 schools- at least 3 visits per school with resource materials and other support • On request, visit to villages, public places and district/state level awareness events Strategy: • Workshop- State, district regular review meetings- teachers and youth • Visits • Internships • State Mela

Activities in schools • Action projects on environmental issues of their immediate concerns such as water, energy, air and biodiversity including greening. • Tree plantation, specially medicinal plants, observing Van Mohatsav • Competitions in schools such as debate, elocution, quiz and drawing
